A TisBest Charity Gift works like any other gift card, except that instead of buying more stuff, the recipient of a Charity Gift Card spends it to support a charity of their choice at www.tisbest.org. You may choose between three gift card types:
- Send a biodegradable recycled plastic gift card in a quality greeting card by regular mail.
- Send a gift card by email
- Print the gift card on your printer.
Our gift cards are completely customizable. You may create your own gift card design that includes your company’s branding and messaging on both the gift card and the greeting card. There is no additional cost and no minimum order for custom designs. Click here to see examples. Orders of less than 500 plastic cards typically ship within two business days.
If you are formatting an image specifically for our cards it should be 974px wide x 606px high at 300 DPI (or similar), saved as a maximum quality .jpg file smaller than 1MB. Preview how your image will look by using the “Upload an image” tool on our Shop page. If you are working in Photoshop, feel free to use our PSD template.
Orders of up to 500 cards typically ship within two business days. Your order details page will list expected delivery dates for USPS First Class mail and include tracking links for Priority and Express shipments.

Charity Gift Cards that you print on your printer or send via email are delivered instantly, and there is no shipping charge.

Email Charity Gift Cards may be sent to your recipient on any date you select. A calendar is included in the card purchase process. We email cards out at 7:30am Pacific Time on the date selected.
Yes. TisBest Philanthropy is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. When you purchase a TisBest Charity Gift Card, you are actually making a charitable donation. The Donation may be tax-deductible. Please consult with your tax advisor for specific advice about taking tax deductions. The person spending a Charity Gift Card is not entitled to a tax deduction.
We send charity gift card funds to our charity partners quarterly. Aggregating these funds quarterly greatly reduces the processing/administration costs for our charity partners and for TisBest.
Our gift cards do not expire and may be used at any time.
Our TisBest Charity Gift Cards don’t expire. But sometimes a gift card is misplaced, lost, or not spent for other reasons. We found a way to put the money associated with unspent cards to good use. Our method allocates money from unspent cards between a reserve account and our operating account. Funds in the reserve account are what allow us to ensure that our Charity Gift Cards never expire. Funds in our operating account help cover the costs of maintaining the website, answering your phone calls, printing charity gift cards, and donating 100% of each charity gift card that is spent to charity.
Email Charity Gift Cards are delivered from email@example.com. Your purchase receipts come from firstname.lastname@example.org. If you or your recipient did not receive your order, please first check spam and junk email folders and add tisbest.org as a trusted sender. If you need further help, please reach out to email@example.com.
A TisBest Charity Gift Card does not have material value to the recipient (it cannot be exchanged for goods or services) and so it generally will not violate rules that regulate the giving and receiving of gifts.
